A native of New Jersey who later made Las Vegas her home, Martha is an accomplished businesswoman whose strength, determination, and vision have shaped both her personal and professional journey. As a proud cancer survivor, she approaches life with resilience, gratitude, and an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on those around her. What began as an exciting business venture—the purchase of a Black-owned hair salon—soon evolved into something far more meaningful. Over time, the salon became a true labor of love, allowing her to cultivate a space where beauty, culture, community, and confidence come together. Her dedication extends far beyond ownership; she is deeply invested in the success of the salon, its stylists, and every client who walks through its doors.
Today, she views the salon as more than a business—it is a beacon of love, empowerment, and connection. Through her leadership, she has created an environment where clients feel welcomed, valued, and inspired. Some careers are carefully planned—Shandra was inspired by purpose and discovered through passion. What began as a chance opportunity quickly evolved into a role that perfectly matched her God-given creativity. Recognizing her natural eye for design, branding, and storytelling, Martha entrusted her with bringing the salon's vision to life beyond the styling chair.
Working under the mentorship of Martha, the talented owner of Xquisite Hair Studio, she has gained invaluable knowledge about the beauty industry, branding, and what it takes to build a successful salon. Every lesson has strengthened her passion for creative marketing and fueled her commitment to showcasing the artistry and excellence that define the Xquisite brand.
As the Creative & Social Media Director for Xquisite Hair Studio, she is responsible for developing the salon's visual identity across social media, designing engaging promotional campaigns, creating compelling digital content, and recently leading the redesign of the salon's website. Her goal is to ensure that every post, advertisement, graphic, and online experience reflects the professionalism, creativity, and welcoming atmosphere clients experience the moment they walk through the doors.
She believes that creativity is a gift meant to inspire others, and she is honored to use that gift to help elevate the Xquisite Hair Studio brand. Through innovative content, strategic marketing, and authentic storytelling, she continues to connect the salon with new audiences while celebrating the incredible talent of the stylists who make Xquisite Hair Studio a destination for exceptional beauty services.

Maegan began her cosmetology journey in Los Angeles, California, where she attended the prestigious Los Angeles Trade-Technical College School of Cosmetology in 1997–1998. Although the beauty industry was not initially her first career choice, her education quickly sparked a passion for hairstyling and hair care that would shape her professional future.
After completing her training, Maegan launched her career at Good Fred Salon in Los Angeles, where she honed her skills and developed a reputation for excellence. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous hair shows across the Los Angeles area, earning recognition and awards for her creativity, technical expertise, and innovative styling techniques.
Maegan specializes in healthy hair care and natural hair maintenance, helping clients achieve beautiful, healthy hair while preserving its strength and integrity. She is particularly known for her long-lasting silk presses, elegant updos, and flawless ponytail styles, which consistently leave her clients looking and feeling their best.
With a commitment to ongoing growth and excellence, Maegan combines artistry, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hair care to deliver exceptional results. Her goal is to enhance each client’s natural beauty while promoting healthy, manageable hair that inspires confidence and style.
Willie began her career as a licensed cosmetologist in 1982 in New York City, building a reputation for creativity, precision, and exceptional client care. With more than four decades of experience in the beauty industry, she has developed a passion for hairstyling, cutting, and color services. Her vibrant personality is reflected in her signature purple hair, a testament to her artistic flair and love for self-expression.
Specializing in short hairstyles, Willie is known for creating customized looks that enhance her clients’ natural beauty while complementing their individual lifestyles. Her dedication to staying current with trends and techniques has allowed her to serve generations of clients with confidence and expertise. Beyond the salon, Willie enjoys expressing her creativity as a part-time cake designer, combining artistry and attention to detail in another form of design.

Today, she remains inspired by her family, her passion for the beauty industry, and the opportunity to help others look and feel their best. Machelle is a highly skilled cosmetologist who began her career in 1986 in Las Vegas, dedicating nearly four decades to helping clients achieve healthy, beautiful hair. Her areas of expertise include weaves, natural hair care, relaxers, and silk press/flat iron services, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the integrity and health of every client’s hair.
In addition to her work behind the chair, Machelle has shared her knowledge and passion for the beauty industry as a cosmetology instructor in South Carolina, teaching aspiring professionals the art and science of hair care and styling. Her commitment to education and excellence has earned her the respect of both peers and clients alike. Machelle is known for building lasting relationships with her clientele, many of whom have remained loyal for decades. Her longest-standing client relationship spans 24 years, a testament to the trust, consistency, and exceptional care she provides. Clients frequently praise her professionalism, expertise, and dedication to healthy hair, often noting that they feel completely confident placing their hair in her hands.
